Panagis Magdalinos is Director of AI & Technology Innovation at the National Bank of Greece, where he executes the Bank’s enterprise Artificial Intelligence strategy. His unit is building NBG’s Generative AI ecosystem from the ground up — delivering 70+ AI solutions in 2026, introducing the first agentic Voice AI solution in banking services. He holds a PhD in Data Mining & Machine Learning from the Athens University of Economics and Business. Over a 20-year career, he has led data science and AI teams at Coca-Cola HBC, Intracom Telecom and the University of Athens, spanning banking, FMCG, telecommunications and European R&D — turning advanced analytics into measurable business value at scale.
