Dr Kyriakos Tolias is the Director of the National Documentation Centre (EKT). He holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and was a Visiting Professor at the Cyprus University of Technology. He specializes in Natural Language Processing and Generative Artificial Intelligence. He holds an MSc in Data Communication from Kingston University of London. He is the Statistical Head of EKT, a National Authority of the Hellenic Statistical System, and serves as Greece’s Representative in the OECD’s Digital Policy Committee and Committee for Scientific and Technological Policy. He previously worked as an information systems support and development manager at the Athens Exchange Group. Since 2005, he has served as an executive at the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, responsible for information systems and applications, as well as the organisation’s digital transformation. Ηe has contributed to developing innovative products and services, enhancing productivity through business intelligence solutions, reducing costs through ICT services, and improving efficiency within the public sector.
